This year on the 15th August, Trakai celebrated Žolinės (the Feast of the Assumption of Mary) by organising the Kopūstinė Fair. The festival was organised by the Crafts Centre of Trakai Region and the fair took place on the island of Karaimų (Kopūstinė). Educational activities were organised during the event. Folk artist Klaidas Navickas demonstrated and invited people to try their hand at woodcarving. Here are some of the highlights of the event.
