On the 10th of May, the paper cuttings exhibition "By the Hill of Gediminas..." dedicated to the 700th anniversary of the founding of the city of Vilnius opened its doors. The exhibition is held at the Marijas and Jurgis Šlapeliai Museum (Pilies st. 40, Vilnius). Along with other authors, the exhibition exhibits the paper-cutting master Klaidas Navickas's works about Vilnius.
On the 11th and the 18th of May, at 14:00 the public education "Paper cut Your Vilnius" will be held in the museum. The exhibition is organized by the Vilnius Branch of the Lithuanian Folk Artists Union and the Association of Folk Artists-Art Creators of the Vilnius Region.
The exhibition will be open until the 21st of May.
