This year, the Kėdainiai Culture Centre together with the Kėdainiai District Municipality invited residents and guests to celebrate the 650th anniversary of Kėdainiai. "Time to go to Kėdainiai" was the slogan used by the organisers of the city festival to encourage people to visit the city of Kėdainiai, located in the middle of Lithuania.
On 10th of September, the "Be the Returning Birds" celebration took place in the courtyard of the M. Daukša Public Library. Klaidas Navickas, a master of paper cuttings, who has returned to the city of his youth, took part in an open discussion on "Kėdainiai of today and the future".
