On July 8th, at the Trakai Palace of Culture (Vytauto St. 69, Trakai), was presented a book which took three years to complete. In this book are introduced craftsmen, creators, performers, community festivals and ethnic heritage of various nations of Trakai region. We are very happy and proud glad that paper cuttings master Klaidas Navickas is presented in this unique book. We would like to thank and send warm wishes to the project manager, the chairman of the Trakai Region Culture and Crafts Association, Dominika Semionovė and the photographer whose photos illustrate the book, Vladas Ščiavinskas!
